How this estimate works.

The calculator is an example, not a quote. Here is exactly what it does with the number you enter.

The "doing nothing" path

It takes your monthly bill and raises it about 18% each year, an example growth assumption in line with what we see on unmanaged commercial waste bills, not a measurement of your account. Your entered rate is used for year one; the first increase applies in year two.

Example: enter $1,000/mo → year one totals $12,000. In year two the modeled rate becomes about $1,180/mo. That's the curve in the chart.

The "with us" path

The calculator compares two cost scenarios over the selected period. One uses your current bill and the assumed yearly increases. The other applies an assumed renegotiated outcome for a business several years into its current contract, with a small assumed increase each year; no contract holds perfectly flat forever, and we don't model one that does. Newer contracts usually have less built-up overcharge to remove, so results vary with contract age. Assumed future increases are not charges we have confirmed your hauler will make.

Our fee is already inside these numbers

The savings shown are estimates of what you would keep after our fee, applied for the modeled period. Our fee is a share of savings we create, and the percentage and period are stated in your savings agreement before you sign. No savings, no fee.

What the model leaves out

  • Changes to your service, like pickups, container sizes, or locations
  • Taxes and one-time charges, which vary by account
  • Whether your specific bill actually has room to cut. That takes a review

What it is not

Not a quote. Not a negotiated rate. Not proof your bill contains an overcharge. It does not identify fees on your invoice or confirm what a hauler will accept. One-time charges, exit costs, service changes, and other account-specific costs may affect actual results. Your real numbers come from a free review of your bill and agreement; that's the point of the free audit.

How do you get my bill lower?
Waste Certified uses its buying power and relationships with trash companies to give your business access to wholesale pricing. We handle the price changes, written rate locks, and monthly bill checks.
Do I have to change my trash company?
Keeping your current hauler is the standard approach. Waste Certified targets better pricing for the same containers and service. A necessary hauler change is an exception handled separately under your savings agreement.
Can you help if I'm already in a contract?
Yes, your bill and agreement can be reviewed now. A lower bill may be possible without ending the contract. The options depend on your terms and what the hauler will agree to.
Will a bill review interrupt my pickups?
No service change is made just because you request a review. A price change with your current hauler does not require different containers or pickup days. Any proposed switch is discussed separately.
What does it cost?
